I recently participated in a booksigning with a number of other romance authors who are part of my local writing group, Tampa Area Romance Authors (TARA). We had a grand time and lots of peeps came away with some really great books. The fabulous Karen Rose was there signing her latest suspence novel and Joan Johnston signed her latest as well. Joan gave a fantabulous presentation at our writer's meeting that day that left us all enlightened and raring to get back to our manuscripts to "tighten" our prose.
Other wonderful authors present were Roxanne St. Clair and Julie Leto. If you haven't picked up Julie's "witchy" Harlequin Blazes yet (Stripped and Something Wicked) you are really missing out! (not to mention her "Phantom" paranormal romances - yum!) And Roxanne St. Clair's Bullet Catcher series will keep you up all night reading! Terri Garey couldn't make it. :( Kathy Carmichael and Ann Josephsen were there signing their latest books too. Kathy's book "Hot Flash" just got a starred review in Booklist. I can't wait to read it!
