Merry Samhain and Happy Halloween

Today marks the time of the year when the veil between the worlds is thin and those of less traditional faiths honor their departed loved ones. Today, I honor a dear friend and mentor who recently passed into the Summerland. Reverend Donna Jeanne Guerra was a bright light in this world, a pastor of a small metaphysical church in Florida who touched - and changed - many lives for the better. Her messages combined multiple faiths and she made every effort to show the threads of truth that weave through most all belief systems. She was adamant that the world is getting better, not worse as so many people seem to believe. She opened my eyes to the magick in this wonderful world some fifteen or so years ago. I've never been the same. Thank goodness!

Donna Jeanne is missed by many. I know she will feel the love, admiration, and gratitude I - and many others - extend to her not just today, but every day.

So who will you honor today? Which of your loved ones has passed beyond the veil? Take a moment today to acknowledge him or her. I know that they'll hear your message and be glad you reached out to them.

In honor of Rev DJ, here is a link to one of her sermons. Appropriately, her sermon is about angels. Yes, you can reach out to your angels today too. But I hope you'll connect with them every day. Enjoy!

Happy Halloween and Merry Samhain! Be safe. Have fun!

Booksigning at Mystikal Scents, 10/24

I’ll be signing copies of my books at Mystikal Scents, a lovely Metaphysical shop this Saturday 10/24 from 1pm-3pm. The store is in the Tampa Bay area and is a great place to hang out. Each Saturday in October they are having a festival honoring one of the elements (earth, air, fire, water, spirit). There will be readers on hand, cool new agey shopping, and more. Hope to see some familiar faces! (not a bad way to spend a Sat afternoon – Pearl’s shop is great!)

Mystikal Scents 9545 E. Fowler Ave Thonotosassa, FL., 33592 813-986-3212 Mon – Sat 11–7pm, Sun 12–4pm

Live Chat on www.romanceinthebackseat.com

Had fun chatting tonight with Terry of Romance in the Backseat. We talked about movies, books, paranormal phenomena, Samhain, among other things. In spite of our late start (technical snafu) and the kids busting in on me and demanding we put up Halloween decorations, I had a great time. Terry is a lovely host. And so knowledgeable about movies!!! I've got a few more to add to my list to see (thanks to Terry.) I did promise one person who attended a free mini-reading. Hubby chose at random...guest 2148 please email me at author@elissawilds.com for more information. As for me, the decorations are up (though according to the 10-year-old the cobwebs need tweaking), the family is asleep, and I'm not far behind. Don't forget to check out the latest FREE paranormal short story on Terry's website Stars Are Empty.

4.25 Star Review for Lucid by Debra Glass From Night Owl Romance

4.25 stars! "Just Fabulous." ~ Night Owl Romance

The green fairy wants your soul. Lucid by Debra Glass

Librarian Jayne Shepard has always lived vicariously through her beloved books, especially Regency-era literature. So when her friends offer the chance to stay in Villa Diodati, where Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and John Polidori’s The Vampyre were inspired, Jayne seizes the chance.
She expects to absorb the haunting atmosphere of the historic manor located on the shore of Lake Geneva. What she doesn’t expect is an encounter with an enchanting stranger who calls himself Lord Byron—who awakens Jayne to a sensual and sexual ecstasy she’s never before known.
